Jesus said 'Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.' (Matthew 19:14 NIV)
Children are important to us at Hope. Studies show that a majority of Christians came to Christ while children. We desire to see our youth and childrens ministries expand so that we may honor Christ by honoring these for whom He also died.
Children participate in our Sunday morning service. Following our opening songs of worship, the children are gathered in the front rows and have a short message delivered just for them. Joe Chambers, one of our elders, shares a Bible lesson that even younger ones can find practical.
Prior to the sermon, the children go downstairs for the remainder of the service where Joe and his wife Laurie continue to share with them through a Bible Lesson and a craft.
During our CE hour, the youth learn the same material as the adults from a specially adapted lesson.
